You enter at 231 Smith Street and navigate two flights of stairs to find a New York inspired loft conversion perched high above the streets below.

This one-of-a-kind restaurant and bar is housed inside an early 1900’s textile factory, aptly named ‘Panama House’.

Upon entering the building you will be struck by the spacious and atmospheric nature of our venue, punctuated by eight stunning arched windows that offer picturesque views of the surrounding area.

Our restaurant and bar opens from 5pm for dinner and drinks. Walk-ins are accepted, but restaurant bookings are highly recommended to avoid dates where our entire venue is fully booked for private events.

Famous for our arched windows and heritage listed to preserve our past, Panama Dining Room is a truly unique venue with an incredibly rich history. You can book a table to enjoy dinner in our restaurant to marvel at the views; or you can book the entire venue to enjoy complete privacy for your event.
